  • All available Add-ins will be shown to you. Select Analysis Toolpak and click OK.

Analysis ToolPak is added now. You can see it in the Data tab in the rightmost corner.

To install Analysis toolpak in Excel for Mac, follow below steps.

  1. Goto tools or Insert menu.
  2. Locate Add-Ins and Click on it.
  3. You’ll be prompted to choose from available add-ins. Select Analysis Toolpak.
  4. Click Ok.

  • Click on OK button
  • When you check Data ribbon, this time you will see Data Analysis option appears in Analysis Group.
  • When you click on Data Analysis, you will find the dialog box as shown below:

Load the Analysis Toolpak

The Analysis Toolpak is an Excel add-in program that is available when you install Microsoft Office or Excel (See later for instructions for installing Analysis Toolpak on a Mac).

To use the Toolpak in Excel, however, you need to first need to load it:

1. On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.

2. In the Add-Ins window, check the Analysis Toolpak box.

3. Then click OK.

Tip If Analysis Toolpak is not listed, click Browse to locate it.

4. If you see a message that tells you the Analysis Toolpak is not
currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it.

5. Click Tools on the menu bar.

When you load the Analysis Toolpak, the Data Analysis command is added to the Tools menu.

Excel 2007

Load the Analysis Toolpak in Excel 2007

The Analysis ToolPak is a Microsoft Office Excel add-inprogram that is available when you install Microsoft Office or Excel. To use it in Excel, however, you need to load it first.

  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
  2. Click Add-Ins, and then in the Manage box, select Excel Add-ins.
  3. Click Go.

Load the Analysis Toolpak in Excel 2010

Note: it is possible that the Analysis ToolPak was loaded when you originally installed Excel. To check this see if Data Analysis is listed under the Data tab.

The Analysis ToolPak is a Microsoft Office Excel add-inprogram that is available when you install Microsoft Office or Excel. To use it in Excel, however, you need to load it first.

  1. Under the File tab, under the Help heading, click on Options.
  2. Click Add-Ins, and then in the box to the right, select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click GO.

Excel for the Mac

Excel for Mac Prior to 2010

If your version is earlier than 2011, check to see if the command, Data Analysis, is available on the Tools menu in Excel.

If the Data Analysis command is unavailable on the Tools menu, then you must install and load it following these steps:

On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.

Select the Analysis ToolPak check box, and then click OK.

You probably need Office for Mac 2011 and have installed the Service Pack 1 update. which is available HERE.

After you install Service Pack 1, follow these steps to start Solver:

  1. Start Excel.
  2. Click Tools, and then select Add-Ins.
